Pork Cuts

The majority of Althams Prime Pork is specially selected from BPEX Farm Assured stock, maintaining all the animal welfare and quality standards of British Pork. Prime Pork is aged for 4-6 days. Pork is also sourced from the EU dependent on customer requirements. We mainly select from the following British born breed of pig:

The British Landrace, The British White and The Duroc: These are very versatile breeds, high lean meat content, in a superbly fleshed carcase, which is ideal for either fresh pork or bacon production.
